Miami FC fell 2-0 to Loudoun United FC on Saturday night at South Dade Kia Field at Pitbull Stadium in the club’s latest USL Championship matchup.
Miami entered the match looking to extend its winning streak after an impressive stretch of results. The club had earned victories over Rhode Island FC, Indy Eleven, Sporting JAX and the Tampa Bay Rowdies, building momentum as the 2026 regular season approached its conclusion.
Following a strong 2-1 road victory over Tampa Bay last weekend, Miami returned home determined to carry that form into another important contest in front of its supporters.
Loudoun United, however, proved difficult to overcome, earning the road victory and leaving Miami searching for a response after its recent run of success.
The result brings Miami’s four-game winning streak to an end. Despite the setback, the club will look to take the positives from its recent performances and refocus on the final stretch of the regular season.
Miami has continued to see contributions from its developing talent throughout the campaign, including Miami FC Academy product Felipe Rodriguez, who has delivered important performances between the posts. The club’s commitment to developing young players remains an important part of its identity as the season progresses.
With two regular-season matches remaining, Miami FC will now turn its attention to another home matchup as it looks to bounce back and finish the season strong.
Miami FC returns to South Dade Kia Field at Pitbull Stadium on Saturday, October 17, to host Charleston Battery. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
