Miami FC returns to Pitbull Stadium this Saturday, October 10, as the club welcomes Loudoun United FC for another important matchup in the final stretch of the 2026 USL Championship regular season. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET.
Miami enters Saturday’s match with plenty of momentum after earning a 2-1 road victory over the Tampa Bay Rowdies last weekend. The win extended Miami’s winning streak and continued the club’s strong run of form as the team battles through the final matches of the regular season.
Against Tampa Bay, Miami took an early lead through Arney Rocha before Rodrigo Da Costa restored the advantage in the second half. Goalkeeper and Miami FC Academy product Felipe Rodriguez also delivered another impressive performance, making four saves to help Miami secure all three points.
With the regular season nearing its conclusion, Miami will look to carry that momentum back home in front of its supporters at Pitbull Stadium.
KNOW YOUR OPPONENT – LOUDOUN UNITED FC
Loudoun United FC travels to South Florida for its second meeting with Miami FC this season. The two clubs previously met on March 21 at Segra Field, playing to a 0-0 draw.
Loudoun has also added forward Liam Butts to its squad for the remainder of the 2026 season on loan from Atlanta United 2. Butts has recorded four goals and one assist in 17 appearances for Atlanta United 2 this season.
Miami will look to take advantage of home-field advantage and earn three points against Loudoun as the club continues its push through the final weeks of the campaign.
KEEPING THE MOMENTUM GOING
Saturday’s match provides another opportunity for Miami to build on its recent run of form. The club has picked up important results over the past several weeks, including victories over Rhode Island FC, Indy Eleven, Sporting JAX and Tampa Bay.
The recent performances have also showcased the continued development of Miami FC’s young players. Rodriguez’s emergence in goal has been a highlight, with the Academy product stepping up when his team has needed him most.
As Miami FC continues to develop its pathway from the Academy to the First Team, performances from players like Rodriguez provide an important glimpse into the future of the club.
