Jiménez joins Miami FC following his last stint with CA Progreso, Uruguay’s Liga AUF Apertura team. Before signing with Progreso, Jiménez played for Cerro Largo FC in 2024. 

Prior to his Liga AUF Apertura campaign, Jiménez played in Greece’s Super League 2 with OF Ierapetras from 2022-2023.

Tobias Mas signed an Academy Contract with Miami FC ahead of the 2025 season, following consistent performances with Miami FC’s USL Academy team.

Mercado signs with Miami FC following his 2024 campaign with Argentina’s Club Ferro Carril Oeste. Mercado was developed through the Boca Juniors youth system before making his professional debut with CA Independiente where he spent 3 seasons. The 28-year-old from Buenos Aires continued his career in the top-level Primera División with three seasons for CA Huracán before eventually landing at Ferro.

Romero comes to Miami FC to make his USL Championship debut ahead of the 2025 season. Romero has spent the majority of his career playing in Argentina. The midfielder was most recently with Instituto ACC in the Torneo Apertura for the 2023/2024 season. Romero has also played for CA Banfield and AA Argentinos Juniors, having scored four goals in his time with the latter.

Verón joins Miami FC following a four-year professional tenure in Argentina with Club Estudiantes de La Plata. Verón began with the Estudiantes academy, before signing with the first team. While Verón was with Estudiantes, they won the Argentinian 2022/2023 cup. Verón also played for fellow Argentinian team Central Córdoba de Santiago del Estero and Chile’s Deportes La Serena while in 2022 and 2024 while on loan from Estudiantes.

Celeste prepares to make his USL Championship debut with Miami FC, coming from Venezuelan Primera Division Club Zamora. Prior to signing with Zamora, the midfielder spent the 2023/24 campaign with Beroe Stara Zagora in Bulgaria’s efbet Liga. In the 2022/23 season, Celese played for Club Atlético Los Andes in Argentina where he scored three goals in his time with the team. Celese has also played in Mexico’s Lida TDP with Potros and Italy with Serie C team Siracusa. Celeste started his career with Boca Juniors in 2013 where he first made his professional debut, following his youth career with the Argentine team.

Vázquez joins Miami following his 2024 campaign with Ecuadorian Liga Pro Serie B team Vinotinto FC. The midfielder had one goal and three assists in his 27 appearances with the team. Prior to signing with Vinotinto FC, Vázquez played for Cunibro FC. While the Argentine was with Cunibro FC, the team won the Ecuadorian 2nd Tier Championship. Before his stints in Ecuador, Vázquez spent the majority of his career in Argentina playing with Club Deportivo Español. Vázquez signed his first professional contract with Deportivo Español in 2017 following his youth career with the team. He made his professional debut that June with a win over fellow Primera B Metropolitana team Barracas Central.
