Knutson returned to Miami FC for the 2026 USL Championship season after first joining the club ahead of the 2024 campaign. The defender made 31 appearances in his debut season and was a key part of Miami’s backline in 2025, recording 195 clearances while also scoring four goals. Prior to Miami FC, Knutson spent five seasons in USL League One with South Georgia Tormenta FC and Union Omaha, winning the league title with Omaha.
