Miami FC returns to USL Championship action Saturday night, traveling to Indianapolis to take on Indy Eleven at Michael A. Carroll Stadium.
Miami enters the matchup with momentum after earning a 2-1 road victory over Rhode Island FC last Saturday. Arney Rocha opened the scoring in the 25th minute before Rhode Island equalized in the first half. Denilson Milanés restored Miami’s lead in the 74th minute, finishing a rebound to give Miami all three points.
The victory marked Miami’s sixth win of the 2026 USL Championship season and gave the club back-to-back victories over Rhode Island FC this season. Miami will now look to carry that momentum into another road matchup against Indy Eleven.
With the regular season entering its final stretch, Miami FC will look to continue competing at a high level, build confidence, and finish the 2026 campaign on a strong note.
KNOW YOUR OPPONENT – INDY ELEVEN
Indy Eleven enters Saturday’s matchup coming off a 1-0 home loss to Oakland Roots SC on September 20. Despite creating several opportunities, Indy was unable to find the back of the net and saw its unbeaten run in September come to an end.
Before the loss, Indy had opened September with three consecutive unbeaten results, including a 4-0 victory over Brooklyn FC on September 15 and 2-2 draws against Birmingham Legion FC and New Mexico United.
Indy currently has plenty at stake as it continues competing for a place in the USL Championship postseason. The club will look to respond at home against Miami FC and get back to winning ways.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
Saturday’s matchup will be the second meeting between Miami FC and Indy Eleven during the 2026 USL Championship regular season.
The teams previously met on July 15 at Pitbull Stadium, where Miami FC earned a 2-0 victory over Indy Eleven.
Miami will look to build on that result and make it two wins against Indy Eleven this season.
THE ROAD AHEAD
With the final weeks of the regular season approaching, Miami FC will use the remaining matches as an opportunity to continue competing, building momentum, and preparing for the future.
Following Saturday’s match in Indianapolis, Miami will return to South Florida for a Wednesday night matchup against Sporting JAX on September 30 at Pitbull Stadium.
Miami FC will look to carry the confidence from its victory in Rhode Island into Saturday’s match and continue its strong performances on the road.
