MIAMI (November 8, 2019) - The Miami FC culminates its NISA Showcase campaign with a date against Stumptown Athletic in the NISA East Coast Championship on Saturday, November 9th at Riccardo Silva Stadium.

A Seamless Transition

Miami FC spent two seasons in the NPSL before joining NISA in the fall of this year. During its time in the NPSL, Miami won two-consecutive NPSL Championships, something that had never been done before.

With its eyes set on making more history, Miami moved leagues and wasted zero time establishing itself as the dominant team it proved to be in the NPSL – and the NASL before that.

In six matches during the NISA Showcase regular season, the Orange and Blue didn't lose a single match, taking 14 points from six matches. Miami ranked first in the entire league in points earned, goals scored, goals allowed and goal differential.

Players to Watch

Dylan Mares has been Miami's captain for the past two years and has led the team with both his leadership ability and unrivaled on-field play.

The player of the match in each of Miami's two NPSL Championships, Mares carried over that form to the NISA Showcase, scoring five goals in six matches while providing three assists to boot.

Ariel Martínez has played with Miami FC since the club's inception in 2016, consistently providing a dynamic offensive outlet and organizing the team with his experience.

A flexible midfielder who can pop up anywhere in the final third, Martínez led NISA with six assists and frequently created a bevy of scoring chances for the league's top offense.

Tomás Granitto quickly acclimated himself to the team after signing in early 2019, proving to be a crucial piece in midfield for Miami during the team's 2019 NPSL Championship run and throughout the NISA Showcase.

A traditional holding midfielder that has no issue getting stuck in, Granitto combines that aggressiveness and impeccable timing on tackles with a keen eye for pinpoint through balls.
