MIAMI (September 24, 2019) - The Miami FC bolstered its roster with the addition of left back Maximiliano Schenfeld on Tuesday afternoon.

During his youth career, Schenfeld spent time with Argentinian youth clubs at Banfield, Tigre and Platense. Schenfeld then moved to Florida and attended Florida Memorial University and Florida National University. He won the USCAA National Championship with FNU before starting his senior career.

Schenfeld has played in Miami for the duration of his senior career, having started with Miami Fusion and winning the 2017 NPSL Sunshine Conference as a key member of the club. Schenfeld then moved to Miami United FC and wasted no time becoming one of the top players on the team, even playing a crucial role in United's victory over The Miami FC during the second week of the 2019 NPSL season.

A left-footed player with impressive pace, stellar crossing ability and a high motor, Schenfeld can play anywhere on the left flank but has settled in as an attack-minded left back. The 26-year-old will immediately slot in as an important depth piece for Head Coach Paul Dalglish's team.
