Apr 1, 2016

Miami, Fla. (April 1, 2016)- The Miami FC, the team of Italian legend Paolo Maldini, has announced US and global broadcast deals for its inaugural 2016 season in the North American Soccer League (NASL).  The deals mean that Miami FC will be the only club in the NASL to broadcast all its matches internationally.

In the US, beIN Sports, CBS Sports Network, One World Sports and Gol TV will all broadcast Miami FC’s games, confirming the increasing popularity of soccer in North America. Global interest in North American soccer is growing too, with over 100 countries now confirmed to broadcast Miami FC’s games. In addition, the NASL will broadcast all matches on ESPN 3 stream.  The deals were made possible through a partnership between The Miami FC and MP & Silva, the leading sports media rights distributor.

The Miami FC, the only professional soccer club in Miami, whose Head Coach is AC Milan and Italy legend Alessandro Nesta, kicks off its season this Saturday at 7 p.m. as they travel to Fort Lauderdale to take on the Strikers. This match will be broadcast on beIN Sports. The Miami FC’s President, Riccardo Silva said:

“The deals that we have managed to secure are great news for Miami FC and soccer fans in general. They also demonstrate the growing interest in Miami FC across North America and globally too. These are exciting times for soccer in Miami and it’s fantastic that fans in the U.S. and around the world can enjoy Miami FC’s games throughout 2016.”
