The Miami FC Top Goals of 2017: 10-6

Dec 8, 2017

Throughout Miami's historic 2017 season, there were plenty of goals; 72 across all competitions to be exact.

Considering the technique and talent level of Miami's goal contributors, picking the best of the bunch would seem like a futile task.

But we've narrowed 72 down to the 10 best of the year. Enjoy!

10. Robert Baggio Kcira vs. Indy Eleven

Left back Robert Baggio Kcira's inclusion on this list is a testament to his versatiity and his impact in such a short period of time prior to injury.

The second and final goal of his 2017 season was a right-footed rocket that dipped perfectly downward and out of the reach of the goalkeeper.

9. Vincenzo Rennella vs. Jacksonville Armada

In an emphatic 4-0 victory over the Jacksonville Armada, forward Vincenzo Rennella brought out the flair for his second goal of the match. Ariel Martínez played Rennella through, Rennella ball-rolled to his right, broke the goalkeeper's ankles and slotted home for a wonderful goal.

8. Stéfano Pinho vs. Atlanta United

The Poku goal might have taken the fame due to the situation and meaningfulness of it, but forward Stéfano Pinho's curling effort to bring the match level just two minutes after going down by a goal took more technique and savviness.

7. Jaime Chávez vs. North Carolina FC

A brilliant bit of interplay between forward Jaime Chávez and midfielder Ariel Martínez culminated in a sliding, half-volley strike by Chávez to give Miami an early 1-0 lead in North Carolina.

6. Rhett Bernstein vs. Atlanta United

During one of the most dramatic matches in Miami FC history, a 3-2 win against MLS side Atlanta United, defender Rhett Bernstein evened the match with a sublime header off a set piece.
