Best Goals of Spring Season

The Miami FC enjoyed a fantastic first half of 2017, winning the NASL Spring Season Championship and reaching the quarterfinals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. 

Through 16 NASL matches and four U.S. Open Cup matches, the Orange and Blue scored an astonishing 44 goals.

We're giving you, the fans, the opportunity to choose the best one of 2017 so far!

Here are the options to choose from. 

Ariel Martínez vs. San Francisco Deltas

The Miami FC clinched the NASL Spring Season Championship in incredible fashion, beating the second-place San Francisco Deltas 7-0 on July 8. With the score at 4-0, Ariel Martínez put the finishing touches on an Orange and Blue masterpiece with a long-range curling gem of a goal. 

Kwadwo Poku vs. Atlanta United FC

Perhaps the most dramatic moment in Miami FC history, Poku's last-second goal against Atlanta United sprung the Orange and Blue into the quarterfinals of the U.S. Open Cup. Aided by a picture-perfect assist from Vincenzo Rennella, the crowd erupted after the Ghanaian international's shot trickled in. 

Vincenzo Rennella vs. Jacksonville Armada FC

The second goal of a resounding 4-0 win against Jacksonville was a total team effort from the Orange and Blue. Rhett Bernstein started the play with a clean pass to Richie Ryan in the middle of the field, who found Dylan Mares on the wing with a great over-the-top through ball. Mares then led a pass to a streaking Vincenzo Rennella in the box, who eliminated an impossible angle and slotted his shot over the goalkeeper. 

Stéfano Pinho vs. Atlanta United FC

With Miami FC falling behind 1-0 early in a crucial Round of 16 U.S. Open Cup match, Brazilian Stéfano Pinho got Miami level with a sublime shot. Kwadwo Poku made a blistering run down the middle of the Atlanta defense before laying off to Pinho on his left. Pinho cut the ball back to his right foot and curled his finish past an outsretched goalkeeper.
