Brad Smith

Originally from Leicester, England, his passion for the beautiful game became stronger when his father founded the Oakville Vipers Soccer Club. Brad became heavily involved in the equipment side of things when he started working at Canada’s largest soccer specific retailer, Soccer World. Smith was responsible for dealing with the equipment solutions for the regions elite soccer players and coaches. In 2011 during his collegiate year, his end-of-year internship with the Durham Region Soccer Association along with his past experiences landed him the role of the Player’s Services Manager with Major League Soccer’s expansion side, the Montreal Impact. It is in Montreal where Smith built his relationship with (then player) Alessandro Nesta and fitness coach, Paolo Pacione. In 2014, Marc Dos Santos brought Brad to the NASL expansion side, the Ottawa Fury. In 2015, Smith joined the Canadian National Team staff in the Pan American Games in Toronto, the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in the USA’s mid-west, 2016 Russia World Cup Qualifying matches and international friendlies. Towards the end of 2015, Smith joined the Miami FC as the equipment manager.
